Barabino & Partners and B2P Communications join Excellera to drive further growth

Move aims at forming one of Europe's leading corporate affairs hubs while strengthening its joint footprint in international markets.

Milan, May 8, 2024 – Barabino & Partners, Italy’s largest corporate communications firm and mother company of the Franco-German strategic communications advisory B2P Communications Consulting, joins Excellera Advisory Group, Italy’s leading corporate affairs advisory group with a growing international foothold. The deal announced today will be completed by the end of May. The goal is to create a true European communications champion with international outreach. While combining their
various strengths in the group, all companies involved will keep the autonomy of their management and brands that they have built up as industry leaders in their markets.

Excellera was founded in November 2022 through the partnership between Cattaneo Zanetto Pomposo & Co. and Community with the support of Xenon Private Equity. Over the past year,
Public Affairs Advisors and Value Relations joined the group. Adding Barabino & Partners,
founded in 1985 by Luca Barabino, marks another major step forward in the process of combining communications firms with outstanding expertise and positioning in their respective fields under the umbrella of Excellera. As of today, Excellera has a total turnover exceeding EUR 60 million and an EBITDA of EUR 20 million, generated by its about 300 employees. Together, all players benefit from a broad network and well-established international presence, spanning offices in Italy (Milan, Rome, Genua, and Treviso), Germany (Berlin and Munich), France (Paris), UK (London), Belgium (Brussels) and the US (New York).

The combined size and international network as well as the broad variety of expertise and experience
will turn the group into a major hub for any global company seeking advisory in corporate, financial, brand, communication, and governance affairs in Europe or for international expansions.
